The Queen of country turned 77 on January 19, and to help Dolly Parton celebrate her birthday, the Grand Ole Opry has organised a special set of shows at The Ryman.
The one-off Opry Goes Dolly event will take place on January 21, with a series of artists set to pay tribute to the living legend.
In keeping with the theme of ‘77’, the two Opry Goes Dolly shows will revolve around hits from Dolly's 1977 album, Here You Come Again. The project went on to become Dolly's first ever Platinum record.
Performers will include Chapel Hart, Chris Young, Marty Stuart and Caitlyn Smith, who recently announced that her new album, HIGH & LOW, will be released on April 14.
Also due to take the stage is John Conlee, Connie Smith, Rhonda Vincent and The Fairfield Four.
Opry Goes Dolly will consist of two shows, both on January 21, with the first going ahead at 7pm, while the later set will kick off at 9:30pm.
