George Strait and Chris Stapleton are bringing their thrilling stadium tour to Buffalo's Highmark Stadium this Saturday (June 14), with special guest Parker McCollum kicking off the long evening of country music.
While McCollum will take the stage around 5:45pm for what's generally an hour-long set, Stapleton's 70-minute set will begin around 7:30pm. All leading up to the main event, the King of Country Music is usually slated to get the show rolling around 9:15pm–but, of course, these are subject to change.
Throughout Strait's more than two-hour set, the country icon typically sticks to his long, long list of beloved hits, including 'Check Yes or No,' 'How 'Bout Them Cowgirls,' 'Ocean Front Property,' 'The Fireman,' 'Troubadour,' 'THe Chair' and 'All My Ex's Live in Texas,' among others.
With a setlist than often features 30+ songs on any given night, fans will have no shortage of music by the night's end, with the King even throwing in a few covers like Waylon Jennings' 'Waymore's Blues' and 'Luckenbach, Texas,' as well as Townes Van Zandt's iconic 'Pancho & Lefty.'
As this isn't the first time that Strait and Stapleton have joined forces on a run of expansive stadium dates, it's become a rite of passage that the pair team up for a few songs during Strait's performance. Typically duetting the songs that Stapleton has written for the country legend, the duo traditionally treat audiences to renditions of 'Cowboys Like Us' and 'You Don't Know What You're Missing,' as well as their 2024 duet, 'Honky Tonk Hall of Fame.'
The venue, which is home to the Buffalo Bills, has a strict bag policy with only clear bags no bigger than 12" x 6" x 12," a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag or a small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand (4 ½" x 6 ½"). You can find the full requirements and bag policy here.
As for merchandise–always a keen topic of interest with George Strait's loyal fanbase–there will be a host of options on-sale at merch booths around the stadium. Strait, Stapleton and McCollum all have some fantastic styles on offer, with Strait's ranging from vintage bomber jackets–ringing in at $195–and "Pure Country" hoodies for $70, to six different long and short-sleeve tee designs. Attendees can also pick up four different hats, including a retro "George Str8" trucker cap, as well as custom license plates, signed photos, clear tote bags, keychains and more available for purchase at every venue.
The last piece of advice we have is to soak it all in and enjoy!
George Strait and Chris Stapleton are two absolute musical titans, and they know how to put on a spectacular show–and did we mention they're only doing five throughout 2025? With that said, if you're heading to Highmark Stadium, you're in for something special.
