Lasso Montréal has unveiled two blockbuster names for its 2023 instalment, with Chris Stapleton and Kane Brown set to take the stage in August.

The two headliners are the first confirmed performers for what looks set to be another stellar outing for Canada's country music fanbase.

Chris Stapleton's unveiling follows an outstanding past few months for the lyrical trailblazer, having been awarded the Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 CMAs in November.

Soon after, Stapleton received two new RIAA certifications for ‘Either Way’ and ‘Broken Halos’.

Brown is also enjoying an eventful end to 2022. The Tennessee native released his third studio album, Different Man, in September, which was met with widespread acclaim from industry professionals and fans alike.

Attendees at Lasso Montréal 2023 will be hoping to hear a selection of these newer tracks, along with classic hits such as ‘Heaven’ and ‘Good as You’.

The 2022 edition of the festival saw a stacked line-up that included Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley and Old Dominion.

If the first two acts confirmed for Lasso Montréal 2023 are anything to go by, then it looks like next year's edition of the festival could be even bigger and better than its predecessor.

Tickets to Lasso Montréal 2023 are available from December 12, and can be purchased here.
