During his Nissan Stadium set at CMA Fest 2025, Washington State's favourite son Zach Top revealed he would be releasing a brand new song tonight (June 8).
We can now confirm this to be the case, with Top dropping 'Good Times and Tan Lines' across all digital streaming platforms immediately after his set.
A truly sunny, fun-time number, Top layers his now trademark neo-traditional country guitar riffs over a sun-kissed melody fit for your summer playlists alongside 'Chattahoochee' and 'Some Beach'.
Performing it live during his first ever appearance on the Nissan Stadium main stage, Top reminisced on how far he's come in the year since playing the VIP Platform stage, calling it "a special night for many reasons".
Top first previewed the song publicly during a VIP set in April, stating that it would be the first song from his next album. Calling it a "a goofy little fun summertime song", Top confirmed to Spotify back in March that the new album would be released in the Summer.
With the release of 'Good Times and Tan Lines', everything seems to be falling neatly into place. surely securing Top as one of the biggest rising stars in country music.
This is developing story, more to follow.
