Zach Top has unveiled yet another nostalgia-riddled, soon-to-be-country-classic with his newest release, ‘Use Me’.
The single – co-written by the young artist alongside Carson Chamberlain and Tim Nichols – is a pure gut-punch, chronicling the desperation of one lonely heart to another.
A “cheatin’ waltz,” he dubbed the song in a post on social media, adding, “That’s what the hip kids are into these days.”
For a while now, Top has been topping the latest school of country newcomers with his penchant for the more traditional.
Armed with a sound and style in the vein of George Strait, Randy Travis and Keith Whitley, the ‘90s revivalist is making us long for more of the good old days.
‘Use Me’ arrives on the heels of his debut single, 'Sounds Like The Radio,' a blistering track reminiscent of the great boot-scootin’ boogies of yore that dropped in January.
The 25-year-old Washington native will soon release his highly anticipated debut album Cold Beer & Country Music, set to arrive on April 5.
Ahead of its release, Top will host an album release show at Nashville’s Exit/In on April 4. Tickets for the special night will go on sale beginning at 10am CT on Tuesday, February 27.
Much of 2024 will see the artist act as support to Brothers Osborne, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley on their respective tours.
