Zach Bryan has returned to TikTok to share an intimate new song snippet, seemingly titled, ‘Tell Me Your Lies’, with fans now clamouring for the Oklahoma native to release it.

It finds the ‘Something in the Orange’ singer-songwriter crooning wistfully across a pared-down, piano instrumental about a bittersweet relationship (“Tell me you love me, that you'll always want me / Say you'll always love it when you talk this way”).

He expresses his admiration and affection, before admitting he knows all these comforting sweet nothings are ultimately “lies”, giving the track a melancholic, despondent air.

It's unusual to hear Bryan singing so evocatively over nothing more than keys, with the country-folk maverick leaning towards more built-out, brass-band-backed compositions throughout his 2026 album, With Heaven On Top. Bryan then re-recorded every single track in a more acoustic way, to satisfy his Day One fans.

We're hoping the ’I Remember Everything’ chart-topper is gearing up to release ‘Tell Me Your Lies’ in the coming weeks, potentially as part of one of his classic post-album EPs.

Some of our favourite material from Bryan has arrived on these EPs, such as Summertime Blues and Boys of Faith, and with the ‘Revival’ singer-songwriter having teased an array of new tracks of late - including an exciting second collaboration with Gabriella Rose - we're keeping our fingers crossed a new project is on the horizon.
