They always say, ‘Never meet your heroes’ - but Zach Bryan superfan, Wynne Williams, would beg to differ.
When Wynne bumped into his idol at the Aspen airport, he commented on how he'd been hoping to attend one of Zach's Belly Up Aspen shows, but that he hadn't managed to get tickets.
Noticing that Wynne happened to be carrying a saxophone, Zach told him he'd get him into the show - but only if the young fan performed on-stage alongside him.
Wynne's mother shared a video of the proud moment Zach Bryan brought her son on-stage.
Zach revealed to the crowd how the two had met, “Hey, so I have a super funny story. I was in the Aspen airport when we landed, and I met this kid named Wynne...he had a saxophone with him.
He was, ‘Hey man, I couldn’t get tickets to your show’. He had the saxophone and I was like, ‘Well, man, if you play the saxophone, you can come.’ And he was like, ‘Alright!”
The crowd loved the unique ending to the show, with Wynne performing a solo during Zach Bryan's high-octane ‘Revival’ finale.
It seems the Oklahoma chart-topper was impressed by Wynne's playing, because he invited him back to join him for his second show in Aspen.
It consolidates the particularly close relationship Zach Bryan has built with his fans over the years, with the ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker recently going so far as to buck the trend and significantly reduce ticket prices for his 2023 tour.
