Since stepping into the spotlight, Zach Bryan has been notorious for sporadically removing his presence from social media, usually deactivating his personal accounts from platforms like Instagram and X.

While the at-random act usually kicks the rumor mill in motion, the artist recently took to his newly reactivated X account to share the real reason for his occasional absences. It turns out to be really simple: sometimes even celebrities need a break.

"for the record, I don’t delete socials because of people being rude, that’s a given where I’m at," he shared in a post to the platform formally known as Twitter. "I delete them because I think sometimes people need breaks from exerting energy into these things to put it into other things, like albums and family time and all that boring stuff."

Fans flocked to comment on the thread, but several had only one word at their fingertips: album. To many of his devotees, this re-emergence on the site could only mean one thing and that is new music.

Currently on his The Quittin' Time Tour, the star has not been holding back new tune, sharing unreleased tracks like '28', 'Sandpaper' and 'The Great American Bar Scene' left and right. Bryan even recently confirmed the latter tune will be the title track of his upcoming project. While no date has been set for its release, an album there will likely be.

Until then, fans can currently find Bryan on social media where he most recently divulged a handful of albums he can't live without like Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska, Kings of Leon's Come Around Sundown and more.
