“You Keep Calling Me Back”: George Strait Announces 2025 Stadium Shows with Chris Stapleton, Parker McCollum and More

George Strait and Chris Stapleton will reunite for another blockbuster run of stadium shows this year, with Strait unveiling five brand new dates across June, May and July 2025.

It follows two years of packed-out stadium concerts from the ‘Honky Tonk Hall of Fame’ collaborators, with George Strait and Chris Stapleton continuing to serve up one of the most impressive bills in country music. Strait's fellow Texan, Parker McCollum, will open across four of the newly unveiled shows, while Little Big Town will rejoin Strait and Stapleton's stadium run for the Inglewood, California date.

McCollum performed at George Strait's history-making Kyle Field show in June, with the home-state concert drawing in a staggering 110,905 attendees, making this highest single ticketed concert of all time in the US. Strait also holds the record for the largest indoor concert in North America, drawing 104,793 attendees at the AT&T Stadium as part of his The Cowboy Rides Away farewell tour in 2014.

With stops lined up in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxborough and Inglewood as part of this 2025 series of shows, George Strait will be bringing his unparalleled arsenal of traditional country classics and steel-soaked anthems to some of the biggest football stadiums in North America throughout the year. Strait boasts a colossal tally of 60 No. 1 hits - more than any other artist in history.

Speaking ahead of the announcement, George Strait explained how he couldn't resist returning for more shows in 2025, quipping, “I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have”.

The ‘Carried Away’ hitmaker went on to toast his support acts, “Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year. Chris will be back and glad to have Little Big Town with us in LA. For the other cities, we’ve added Parker M. to the show which will be outstanding. Can’t wait to see you!”

Tickets go on-sale on Friday, February 21st at 10am local time via Strait's website, with American Express card-holders able to access the pre-sale on Thursday, February 20th.
