“Big Morgan Wallen Fan”: WWE Stars Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio Shout Out Wallen's ‘What I Want’ with Tate McRae

There's no question that Morgan Wallen has transcended the country music world, and is now on his way to becoming a household name both in the States and beyond.

There are countless instances of sports stars from the NFL, NBA and more paying tribute to the Sneedville hitmaker when asked which artists have been featuring on their playlists. Just this week, WWE champions Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio have name-checked Morgan Wallen as an artist they've both been enjoying of late.

While chatting to Billboard ahead of their momentous WWE Raw appearance - during which Liv Morgan sadly endured a severe injury, that could see her out of action for weeks - Morgan and her on-screen partner-in-crime, Dominik Mysterio, reflected on who they've been listening to, and which songs they'd cite as summer smashes.

Morgan began by underlining that she's been loving Morgan Wallen's pop-infused collaboration with Tate McRae, ‘What I Want’, which leapt to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last month. It marked Wallen's fourth chart-topper and McRae's debut.

Liv Morgan explained, “‘What I Want’ with Tate McRae and Morgan Wallen...That's been kind of like a repeat for me the last couple of days”, before smiling and teasingly revealing, “Yeah, Dominik loves Morgan Wallen. Big Morgan Wallen fan”. Dominik Mysterio simply grinned knowingly, and confirmed, “Ah, yes”.

Elsewhere during their conversation, Dominik Mysterio shared how he's been listening to a lot of country music recently, including Post Malone's F-1Trillion, along with the likes of Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Jason Aldean, while Mysterio and Morgan also gushed about Sabrina Carpenter's infectious new single, ’Manchild’.

Country music has built a strong relationship with the WWE world in recent years, with HARDY and Jelly Roll making surprise cameos during major events. Could we see Morgan Wallen getting in the ring at some point? We suspect not - but you never know...
