We've all seen enough Westerns to know that women get the short straw when it comes to the roles they play. Either cast as secondary love interests for the male lead or in supporting roles as saloon girls or sex workers, it's about time cowgirls took the lead for once. Let them be the wild anti-heroes with a price on their heads, riding off into the sunset with a posse on their trail.
Step forward Tyra Madison with her script flipping cowgirl-gone-bad country song, 'Cowboy Killer.' A blazing country pop anthem that gives as good as it gets when she turns the tables on all the quick drawing, law breaking, town skipping cowboys we all hate to love. There's a new name on the Wanted posters pinned up all around town and it ain't his.
"I bust in through the swinging doors / This bar has everything I’m looking for," she sings channeling her inner Annie Oakley. "Wranglers on my right, ropers on my left / I’m about to show em I’m the Wild Wild West."
"It's a baddie anthem for the girls who’ve had enough," says Tyra Madison about her new single. "Instead of the cowboy breaking hearts, she’s the one riding into town, causing chaos, and disappearing before sunrise. Honestly, it’s just for the girls who know they’re the main character.”

With over 12 million streams across all digital service platforms, Tyra’s music has found its way into influential playlists, and she has garnered support slots while touring with acclaimed acts including Nelly, Clint Black, Ernest, Lonestar, Maddie & Tae, and Priscilla Block.
