Something is definitely stirring in the Turnpike Troubadours camp.

After we noticed that the Turnpike Troubadours website had changed to display a cryptic 'Coming Soon' message on Friday morning, not so ambiguous billboards have appeared in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with artwork for a new album, 'The Price of Admission' and a release date of April 11th.

Instagram user brave_relics posted the photo to their Instagram account around midday on Friday confirming our suspicions that new music was on the way.

The billboard artwork - possibly related to the new album cover - shows a photo of a stag alongside the band name and album title in orange on the same green background as their website and the words "NEW ALBUM STREAMING APRIL 11TH."

Along with the billboards, a new song 'Be Here' also appeared on the digital jukebox mobile app TouchTunes in the US on Friday night. The band had previously teased new music, albeit accidentally, when 'Mean Old Sun' appeared to be leaked on TouchTunes in April 2023 ahead of their last album A Cat In The Rain.

The band were already announced as support for Zach Bryan on some high-profile 2025 shows, including Dublin's Phoenix Park triple-header and Bryan's two BST Hyde Park dates - as well as unveiling a headlining UK tour - and it seems that isn't all that we can be expecting from them this year.
