Travis Denning has shared a video for ‘ABBY’.
The song, which is somewhat of a fan-favourite, has a comedic undertone into which Denning taps in during the video.
“‘ABBY’ has always been a song that typically gets a good laugh when people first hear the lyrics,” said Denning.
“So, when it came to a concept for the music video, it just made sense for it to be something that matched that sentiment of lightheartedness and not taking yourself too seriously”.
The video makes references to some of the most memorable country music videos of the 2000’s.
“We had so much fun shooting this music video and honestly just paying tribute to some of my favorite artists in the genre, from Toby Keith to Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney to Montgomery Gentry. I hope everyone feels that when they’re watching it,” added Denning.
‘Abby’, which features on his debut EP, has been streamed 17 million times since its release last year and reached number one on Sirius XM’s Highway Hot 30 Countdown.
The song follows his first No. 1 and GOLD-certified single, ‘After A Few’, which was also featured on Denning’s EP, ‘Beer’s Better Cold’.
