The rising East Texas singer songwriter Travis Bolt has announced the release of his debut full length album, Burning Bridges, due to arrive on 16 January 2026 via Gravel Road as he follows the viral success of 'Never Tried Cocaine' with the powerful 'Coming Home' and gives Holler readers the exclusive first look at the new video.

The album’s first single tells a deeply personal story inspired by the night Bolt’s ex-wife returned years after leaving him just six months into their marriage and highlights Bolt’s diaristic gift for transforming personal pain into universally relatable storytelling.

A smouldering chunk of beautifully solemn and soulful country rock, Travis Bolt puffs his emotions proudly up in his chest as he poignantly celebrates a relationship that took the long way round to get to a beautiful place.

"True love is a beautiful thing to get to experience at least once, even if it doesn't last," Bolt shared about the song. "But at some point, you may just have to turn the porch light off and carry on.Here’s to anyone who has had to endure a lover who took way long to realize what they’ve lost… this one’s for you!”

Travis Bolt will also perform at a single release show at Dallas TX’s Three Links Deep Ellum on Friday Oct 3 and is set to perform at Nashville’s Whiskey Jam on Monday October 27.

Bolt’s journey to music was anything but typical. Diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome as a child, he discovered that playing guitar quieted his symptoms — a form of therapy that quickly became his lifeline. “It’s the best medicine I’ve found,” he says. “And I’ve taken all of them.”

Growing up in East Texas, Bolt was immersed in country music at a young age, with early exposure to artists like Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen through his father’s work, supplying backstage BBQ to Larry Joe Taylor’s famed music festival. His influences evolved from bluegrass to blues to country rock, shaping the eclectic style that now defines his sound.

After years of grinding in bands, in between servicing Harley Davidson motorcycles in his spare time, and booking his own shows, Bolt’s breakthrough came with 'Never Tried Cocaine.' Released independently, the song went viral on TikTok and streaming platforms, amassing over 25 million streams and earned Bolt a standing ovation opening for Paul Cauthen at the Ryman Auditorium, plus a European run at Country to Country Fest.

Burning Bridges is released on 16 January via Gravel Road. The single is out now.
