Neyland Stadium just hosted a concert from one of biggest country stars on the planet, Morgan Wallen - could Knoxville be in for a concert from another titan of the genre soon?

The official Tennessee Volunteers Instagram account has today (Monday, October 21st) shared a cryptic post that appears to tease a forthcoming Zach Bryan show at Neyland.

Alongside the caption “we're not done”, the Vols page shared a photo of scenic Neyland Stadium at sunset, overlaid by the artwork for Zach Bryan's hit single, ‘Something in the Orange’.

Although there's been no announcement as to what this mysterious post means, it seems likely the Tennessee Volunteers are gearing up to unveil a momentous Zach Bryan show.

If our suspicions are proven correct, this would mark the first time the ‘Pink Skies’ hitmaker has performed at the venue, and would make him only the fifth artist in history to do so.

Morgan Wallen's double-header in September broken the attendance record set by The Jackson 5 in 1984, with the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper drawing 156,161 fans over the two nights. If Zach is being lined up for a Neyland Stadium set, it'll be interesting to see whether the Oklahoma native can outpace Morgan's tally.

Admittedly, Zach Bryan does not hold the special connection to Neyland Stadium that Morgan Wallen holds, with the latter a regular attendee at Tennessee Volunteers matches. Morgan also references his beloved Vols in a number of songs.

Nonetheless, a Zach Bryan show - or maybe even two, if we're lucky - would be an unmissable occasion for Knoxville's loyal country fanbase. Zach continues to establish himself as a trailblazer in the country-folk space, having dropped his keenly awaited new album, The Great American Bar Scene, in early July to widespread acclaim.

Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen are two of the most popular - if not the most popular - country artists today, and if Neyland Stadium has secured them both in the space of a few weeks, it will be a remarkable feat that could pave the way for more concerts there in 2025.
