“The Sunshine State...Love It”: Riley Green Teases Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis About Arkansas Hunting Trip

While enjoying a well-deserved rest from touring, Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis recently completed a hunting trip out in Arkansas with a number of buddies and fellow artists.

One of Thomas Rhett's good friends and collaborators, Riley Green, who joined the Georgia native for 2022's ‘Half Of Me‘, was not present for the outing. However, Green has taken to the comments section of Rhett's latest Instagram photo with Davis from the trip, to poke fun at the bleak weather that seemed to plague the expedition.

The ‘Jesus Saves’ crooner joked, “The sunshine state.. love it”, teasing Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis, who are photographed standing in a muddy expanse against a grey backdrop.

Riley Green has been experiencing an eventful hunting season of his own, with the ‘Different ‘Round Here’ hitmaker sharing via social media how he injured his foot by stepping on a nail earlier in the week, which forced Green to spend time in an emergency room.

Riley Green is arguably the biggest hunting aficionado in the modern country music scene, with the Alabama singer-songwriter often explaining in interviews how his stints out in the woods help him to find inspiration when it comes to working on new music.

We're hoping that Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis made the most of any quiet moments in Arkansas to discuss collaborating, with the chart-topping duo yet to link up on a track. Perhaps 2025 could be the year the two artists, who share a penchant for infusing pop-leaning and R&B-driven textures into their country sound, finally join forces.
