The Red Clay Strays have rewarded Theo Von for being one of their staunchest supporters throughout their ascent, with the country-rock band seemingly previewing some brand new music for the comedian during a session at RCA Studio A Nashville.
Theo Von often gushes about the five-piece on his podcast, with The Red Clay Strays appearing on This Past Weekend ahead of last year's sophomore album, Made By These Moments.
We haven't been treated to any original new music from The Red Clay Strays since Made By These Moments, which spawned hits such as ‘Wanna Be Loved’ and ‘I'm Still Fine’, so we're hoping these new studio photos from Theo Von is a sign that the gospel-infused group are readying their third full-length record for a 2025 release.
After enjoying a colossal viral moment with the sweet, rose-tinted ‘Wondering Why‘ in 2024, The Red Clay Strays have cemented themselves as a band-to-watch in modern country.
The group, consisting of Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Zach Rishel, Andrew Bishop and John Hall, then solidified their next-big-thing status by taking home the coveted 2025 ACM New Duo or Group of the Year Award at the end of April. Having deftly sustained their momentum over the past few months, it's safe to say we can't wait to hear what The Red Clay Strays have up their sleeves this summer.
