There's a first for everything and many of county music's latest stars are checking one more off of their lists.
Several of today's hottest acts have just received their first ACM recognition ahead of the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Gavin Adcock, Dasha, Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Jessie Murph, Muscadine Bloodline, Shaboozey, Zach Top, The Red Clay Strays, Treaty Oak Revival, and Tucker Wetmore have all nabbed first-time nods.
Among them, Ella Langley marks the event's most nominated star, boasting eight noms. Her smash hit with Riley Green, 'you look like you love me,' is up for six of those nominations, including Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Event of the Year, and Visual Media of the Year as an artist and director. She is also in the running for Female Artist of the Year, as well as New Female Artist of the Year.
Dasha and Jessie Murph are also both up for New Female Artist of the Year.
The New Male Artist of the Year category welcomes first-timers Shaboozey, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore and Gavin Adcock. Shaboozey is also being recognized in Single of the Year for his mega successful 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)'. Top, too, is in the running for Album of the Year, his major debut Cold Beer & Country Music earning a tip of the hat.
Muscadine Bloodline, Treaty Oak Revival and The Red Clay Strays are all being recognized in the Group of the Year categories.
Noah Kahan is up for a win alongside collaborator Kelsea Ballerini, their 'Cowboys Cry Too' duet in the running for Music Event of the Year. Should he win, it will be as both an artist and producer.
The 60th ACM Awards will take place on Thursday, May 8, at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT. The event will stream live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas exclusively on Prime Video.
