Brooklyn-born country artist Jessica Lynn kicks off her annual East Coast holiday tradition with the 16-date A Very Merry Classic Christmas tour beginning Wednesday 26 November, partnering with local musicians and dancersin each city to bring communities together for a high-energy night of holiday cheer in support of her long-standing partnership with Toys for Tots.

Ahead of the tour, she releases her new brand new single and music video, 'Must’ve Been the Whiskey.'

After releasing her most personal album yet, All I Own, earlier this year following sinus surgery complications that led to muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) and threatened her voice, she's in fine voice on the up-tempo girls' night out honky tonk anthem as she puts on her whiskey glasses in the visualizer for her latest single 'Must've Been the Whiskey,' as a guy goes from not-a-chance-in-hell to hot-as-hell with a little help from her old friends Jack and Jim.

“‘Must’ve Been the Whiskey’ is my lighthearted take on those unforgettable girls’ nights out," Jessica shares. "The ones where the music’s loud, the drinks are flowing, and suddenly that guy at the bar looks way cuter than he actually is. It’s a fun reminder that sometimes the bad decisions make the best stories and laughs.”

"But with every sip you're more my type / From Mr. Never Ever to Mr. Right," she sings in the cheeky bar anthem where the whiskey has inevitable consequences. "As the night rolls on and the drinks stack high I change my mind."

We've got the exclusive first watch of the brand new video here on Holler. Fun fact: the “nerdy guy” in the video is actually her husband.

Watch the video for 'Must've Been the Whiskey' below.

'Must've Been the Whiskey' is out on 5 November.
