At long last, Post Malone has shared the online release date for his first collection with Austin Post Apparel. The clothing range is set to drop on Thursday, October 23rd.
It's not 100% clear whether this online collection will feature the same items we witnessed on the runway in Paris last month during Posty's Austin Post Apparel launch, and, similarly, whether it will include the clothes on offer at his recent New York pop-up.
The collection at his Paris runway show was titled “At First Light”, while this online collection is seemingly called “The Permanent Collection”, so it appears they're distinct.
In a mailer, Post has offered some details as to what fans can expect from this first online drop, “Introducing The Permanent Collection - the foundation of Austin Post. Denim, fleece, shirting, outerwear, and accessories built with integrity and balance, intended to endure. Each piece is made to be lived in, worn hard”.
Within the email, you can see fascinating clips of the ‘I Had Some Help’ hitmaker working away on designs and discussing proposed items with his team of collaborators.
Austin Post Apparel double-downs on Post's foray into the country music world, with the brand priding itself on giving the Western aesthetic a modern flourish. With stylish tees, workwear jackets, jeans and more expected to be on offer as part of this opening drop, it's safe to say our bank accounts are dreading Thursday...
