Post Malone has stopped by Theo Von's This Past Weekend podcast to discuss his new album, F-1Trillion, his daughter and more. Excitingly, Posty delved into some of the specifics around his F-1Trillion tour, which kicks off on September 8th in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After Post Malone joked that “I go where they tell me”, Theo Von asked if he had plans to add some international dates to the F-1Trillion tour. Posty teased, “Probably afterwards. Yes, sir”.
At present, the final F-1Trillion tour-dates are lined up for October 26 and 27 at Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, Texas, before Post Malone's eagerly anticipated headlining appearance at Wild Horses Festival on December 30.
As a result, it's possible Posty could plot a few international shows in-between October and December. Given this is only a month or two away, it's perhaps more likely that the ‘I Had Some Help’ hitmaker will be taking his country era global in early 2025.
The last time Posty toured outside the US was last year as part of his Twelve Carat Toothache run, which took him to the UK, Brazil, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Australia, Chile and more.
After explaining how he's replaced the vast majority of his usual band in order to create a truly country feel for his F-1Trillion series of shows, Post Malone mused on how much he misses his daughter, known as ‘DDP’, when he's out on the road, “Tour is a lot of fun. You know, I got my two-year-old now and it's hard being away from home for months, but I love playing music and seeing people sing these songs. It's so cool man, you never know if that's like their one thing of the year”.
Post Malone went on to reflect, “I've only missed a handful of shows and that kind of drives me nuts when artists miss shows, and I know there's reasons often times...this could be their one thing of the year, and I just want to go and kick ass for people who are willing to spend their hard-earned fucking money to see this piece of shit...I want to bust my ass for everyone. So I'm pumped, man, I'm ready to roll”.
The ‘Nosedive’ crooner confessed he's still finalising who will be opening for his tour, underlining, There are so many great options, I just want to make it right”. He hinted that they may opt for smaller artists from the respective states they'll be performing in, as well as an assortment of acts that will join for portions of the run.
