Following a smash hit of a country debut in 2024, Post Malone is officially seeing the fruits of that labor.
Ahead of the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, the 'I Had Some Help' star has secured a number of nods for last year's star-studded F1-Trillion project. The 60th annual ceremony will be his first as a nominee.
The pop icon-turned-recent country sensation is being recognized in Album of the Year for F-1 Trillion, as well as in Music Event of the Year and Single and Song of the Year all for his Morgan Wallen-backed summer hit, 'I Had Some Help'.
Should he take home the Song of the Year award, it will be as both artist and songwriter.
Malone is no stranger to ACM Awards ceremonies. At the 2024 event, he took the stage as a performer, sharing a then-unreleased song, titled ’Never Love You Again’, as well as a delivered a dynamic solo rendition of the now-heavily decorated ‘I Had Some Help’. Soon, he will likely take the same stage for a different reason, perhaps with one of the night's coveted awards in hand.
Last year marked Posty's first real taste of country music awards fanfare when he was recognized at the 2024 CMA Awards.
While F-1Trillion, as a whole, was not eligible for nomination due to the voting period, ‘I Had Some Help’ arrived just in time for consideration. It earned nods for Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
He may have gone home that night with empty hands, but he likely left with a full heart, having been welcomed warmly into the country music fold.
The 60th ACM Awards will take place on Thursday, May 8, at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT. The event will stream live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas exclusively on Prime Video.
