Post Malone has officially launched his new fashion brand, Austin Post, with a blockbuster runway show in Paris, France, which concluded with an eye-catching appearance from a cowboy riding into the Lagerfield Mansion on the back of a horse.
Season One of the newly unveiled collection, titled At First Light, features a range of Western-themed pieces, but given a contemporary, urban twist, with models striding down the runway in bejewelled denim, cowboy print patterns and dazzling buckles.
It was undoubtedly a proud moment for the ‘I Had Some Help’ singer-songwriter, who spoke to WWD after the show about the inspiration behind his very first fashion show, “It's something I've always wanted to do, and I figured, why the hell not right now? Why not us? Why not now?...I think the product that me and the team have created is really special and speaks to me, and I'm super f***ing excited”.
Post Malone reflected on his trip to the WWE event with his 2025 tour-mate, Jelly Roll, at the Paris La Défense Arena earlier in the week, “I love this f***ing town. We went to WWE last night, and it was so much fun [to] bring a little body slam into Paris...I think it's so much fun to be here. When I'm here...I don't get to come as often as I'd like, but I've made so many beautiful memories here, and we figured, why not bring the Bud Light and the shenanigans to Paris, France?”
As for the target market of the forthcoming collection, which is yet to be made available on the official Austin Post website, Post Malone stressed that he wants to offer his loyal fans something durable and lasting, but at a better price than competitors.
Post mused, “I think, if anything, what we try to do is make it a little maybe more accessible, and it's actually tough stuff. So, you know, I worked in the denim, and the denim is made in the United States, and...it works. It's good stuff. A little lower price point because, you know, I'd like people to actually wear it and enjoy it, and cherish a piece that they bought for years and years and years to come”.
It's a natural transition for the genre-blurring maverick, who made his foray into the country music world last year with his stellar opus, F-1Trillion, which featured a dizzying array of titans such as Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and more.
Following the ‘Sunflower’ hitmaker's momentous Austin Post launch in Paris, we suspect it won't be long now before fans can purchase their very first item from the collection. Post is currently in the middle of his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly, with the two friends and ‘Losers’ collaborators headlining London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, September 7th and Monday, September 8th.
