Parker McCollum may have satiated fans with the release of his long-awaited self-titled album, but many, it turns outs, were starved of 'Big Ol' Fancy House' in the process.

His new 14-track album, which dropped on Friday (Jun. 27), was devoid of the long-teased track and the artist seems to have scrambled to right such a wrong.

In a recent post to social media, the artist revealed that a very special, "very raw" recording of 'Big Ol' Fancy House' has been made available.

"I know a lot of you guys really wanted 'Big Ol' Fancy House' to be on the new album," McCollum addressed followers in a video post. "I know that because I got absolutely eviscerated on the internet for not putting it on the album, so what I did is I recorded a very special acoustic version of the song."

He went on to explain that the version is available now with the purchase of the Parker McCollum album from his official website store. A digital download of the 'Big Ol' Fancy House' recording will accompany the purchase.

"I think all of y'all should do that," he continued. "I think you'll be very happy if you do that and I would highly suggest it. Hope you guys dig it."

McCollum first teased 'Big Ol' Fancy House' last spring, the star sharing the tearful song during a live stream. He soon took the tune to the stage, where it found its way into many more fans' hearts.

The song tells the age-old story of the man who gets everything he ever wanted, only to find out he has none of the things he actually needs. In the chorus, McCollum sings, “I thought you would be the one to kill me / Guess it’s true / I can’t live with the memory / What do I do? / I thought I could live without you, and I lied / Now this big ol’ empty house is eating me alive.”

It became a highly anticipated release, especially as McCollum began hinting that a full-length project was in the works earlier this year. It wasn't until last month that he dropped the bombshell: 'Big Ol' Fancy House' hadn't made the cut. That is, until now.

Ask, and just maybe, ye shall receive.
