As if Noah Kahan fans weren’t spoiled enough, the instant hitmaker recently took to social media to tease a new unreleased track dubbed ‘Spoiled.’
Sunday (Feb. 18), the singer-songwriter posted an Instagram video of himself and a group of other instrumentalists rattling off a snippet of the acoustic tune.
Hooded in a light sweatshirt, Kahan can be seen intently strumming and softly lilting the song’s bleak lyrics, which were the only words included in the caption of the post.
“Gambling with the sun,” the song begins, “On which one of us dies young / I ain’t afraid to hold the gun / If it leads me to the safe.”
Lyrics and title aside, little is known about the track. Fans flooded the comments urging the ‘Dial Drunk’ star to drop the song sooner rather than later.
“I'm sorry you can't just tease us with more lyrics than video,” one listener wrote. “How am I supposed to go about my day now?,” another asked.
The ‘Spoiled’ teaser arrives on the heels of Kahan’s latest iteration of his beloved Stick Season project, titled Stick Season (Forever), which sees the star expanding and retooling the fan-favorite release.
Kahan is also in the midst of the first European leg of his We'll All Be Here Forever Tour, a globe-trotting trek that will see him take on arenas and major festivals throughout most of the year.
