Morgan Wallen's new album, I'm the Problem has secured a third consecutive week atop the Billboard 200, with the Sneedville megastar's fourth studio record selling a staggering 246,000 equivalent units during the tracking period ending June 5th.
SEVENTEEN's SEVENTEEN 5th Album HAPPY BURSTDAY secures the second spot with 46,000 units, highlighting the drastic gulf between Wallen and the rest of the field.
I'm the Problem debuted with a colossal 493,000 equivalent album units sold in its first week, easily scoring the largest debut of the year so far, and outpacing other blockbuster projects such as The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow, which posted an initial total of 490,000, and Kendrick Lamar's GNX, which opened with a tally of 319,000.
As Morgan Wallen scores his third week at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200, I'm the Problem becomes the best-selling US album so far this year by total units, overtaking GNX.
A multitude of tracks from I'm the Problem have already cemented themselves as potential future singles, with the likes of ‘TN’, ‘20 Cigarettes’ and ‘What I Want’ with Tate McRae all enjoying viral moments across TikTok since their release on May 16th.
The latter, which serves as the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter's first ever female duet, surged straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last month, marking McRae's debut chart-topper on the all-genre ranking and Wallen's fourth.
On this week's Billboard Hot 100, Wallen has three songs inside the Top Ten, with ’What I Want’, ‘Just in Case’ and the album's title-track landing at No. 2, 3 and 5 respectively. Alex Warren's sweet ode to his wife, ‘Ordinary’, spends a second frame at the peak.
On the Billboard 200, as well as taking the crown with I'm the Problem, Morgan Wallen also earns the No. 6 spot with his previous album, One Thing At A Time - a former 19-week No. 1.
