There were an array of question marks heading into Morgan Wallen's highly anticipated I'm the Problem Tour kick-off in Houston, Texas, including which songs from the new album he'd be performing, what merch would be available - and, crucially, what his 2025 pre-show walk-out would look like. Now, we have our answer.

As the lights dimmed and the excitement fizzled about the NRG Stadium, Wallen's signature walk-out soundtrack, the fiery, rap-infused ‘Broadway Girls’ with Lil Durk, reverberated around the speakers. The ‘Last Night’ chart-topper then flashing up on the JumboTron, flanked by NFL Houston Texans legend, Andre Johnson.

Heartwarmingly, Morgan Wallen was then greeted by local business icon, Mattress Mack - Jim McIngvale - who runs the Gallery Furniture chain. McIngvale joined Wallen and Johnson for the latter half of the walk towards the NRG Stadium stage.

Then, rather than transitioning to ‘WHISKEY WHISKEY’ with Moneybagg Yo, as was the case throughout Wallen's 2025 tour-dates, we were treated to a brand new song inclusion.

The I'm the Problem ‘Interlude’, which finds Morgan Wallen crooning despondently across an 808-fuelled, trap-leaning instrumental produced by Charlie Handsome, entered the fray, provoking a chorus of screams and a broad smile from Wallen.

The country titan has been teasing a full-length version of the track, and with ‘Interlude’ now forming a key part of his 2025 I'm the Problem Tour walk-out, we're hoping Wallen gifts us a longer rendition of the genre-blurring song in the coming months.

During his set, Morgan Wallen reeled off the hits, as well as performing the live debuts of two viral earworms from his latest studio effort, the heartbroken ‘Dark Til Daylight’ and ‘TN’.

Elsewhere, Morgan Wallen joined forces with home-state hero, Koe Wetzel, who opened for Wallen alongside Corey Kent, for a suitably rowdy, galvanising take on ‘Up Down’.

It was a spectacular set, filled with histrionics, flames and drama aplenty, with Wallen delivering a potent reminder of why he has earned the status of modern country's biggest star.
