With the anticipation continuing to build ahead of his I'm the Problem summer tour, Morgan Wallen has offered fans an update as he begins rehearsals for the blockbuster run of shows.
While it's undoubtedly exciting to see that the ‘What I Want’ chart-topper is now honing his performance and setlist for the eagerly awaited tour, our attention has been caught by what appears to be a new I'm the Problem shirt that Wallen is wearing.
With any other artist, you might assume this is an accidental sneak preview of what might be on offer at the merch booth, but Morgan Wallen is well aware of how attuned his loyal fanbase is to his cryptic clues and thinly veiled easter eggs. What's more, it's pretty unusual for the Sneedville megastar to don his own merchandise.
The white shirt, which is in the style of a short-sleeve baseball jersey, features the title of Wallen's stellar new album, I'm the Problem, emblazoned across the chest. There also looks to be a square black ‘MW’ and ‘Morgan Wallen’ logo near the bottom.
As for the cap, of course, it's one of Morgan Wallen's signature Norris Bear designs. At the moment, it's not yet clear what exactly will be on-sale during Wallen's I'm the Problem tour. But given the fact that this newly teased baseball jersey is nowhere to be found on the ‘Love Somebody’ singer-songwriter's online store, we suspect this is going to be released as part of a tour collection - either as an item that's exclusively available at shows, or to drop online next week.
With Wallen now having played two shows since releasing I'm the Problem, we're beginning to get an idea of which songs from the project we can expect him to perform on tour.
It looks like ‘Eyes Are Closed’, ‘20 Cigarettes’, ‘Kick Myself’, ‘I Got Better’, ‘I'm a Little Crazy’ and ‘Just in Case’ are seemingly shoo-ins, but a slew of questions remain, including whether Morgan Wallen will choose a new song - ‘Miami’, perhaps? - for his iconic walk-out. Either way, the picture will be clearer once Wallen storms onto the stage in front of around 70,000 fans at Houston's NRG Stadium on June 20th.
