Morgan Wallen has added an historic second show at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, with the ‘Everything I Love’ singer-songwriter set to become the first artist to ever hold two concerts at the expansive University of Wisconsin venue on June 28th and 29th.
The Sneedville megastar has confirmed the extra show via his Instagram Stories, with the top-tier support artists unveiled as Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley. Lambert and Langley will be opening for Wallen across both Camp Randall Stadium dates.
Morgan Wallen will be performing the blockbuster double-header as part of his eagerly anticipated 2025 I'm the Problem tour, which also features dates in Texas, California and more.
The last concert to be held at the venue, which is home to the University of Wisconsin's college football team, the Wisconsin Badgers, was the Rolling Stones in 1997.
Other icons such as U2, Pink Floyd and Genesis have graced the stage in the past, with the stadium boasting a capacity of around 76,000 - meaning Wallen could potentially perform to around 150,000 attendees over the course of his two shows.
The following month, Coldplay will bring their Music Of The Spheres World Tour to Camp Randall Stadium, and Wisconsin fans will be hoping there's more to come from the beloved venue.
Now, however, it looks like Camp Randall Stadium is welcoming live music once again, with the venue announcing that it would be approving alcohol sales in general seated areas last year, signifying a major step towards re-establishing it as a go-to tour-stop.
Morgan Wallen's announcement comes shortly before the pre-sale for his I'm the Problem, which opens today (Thursday, January 30th). Crucially, the pre-sale will be accessible for both the original Camp Randall Stadium date and the newly added one.
Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem run of shows looks set to consolidate the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper's status as the biggest country artist in the modern landscape, as well as one of the most prominent acts across all genres. It also adds weight to the reasoning behind Wallen's triumph last year as CMA Entertainer of the Year.
The new tour has been scheduled in promotion of Morgan Wallen's fourth studio album, I'm the Problem. The record is due to include the previously released singles, ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ and ‘Love Somebody’, along with the title-track, which drops tonight.
