Morgan Wallen’s record-breaking run continues, with the Sneedville titan securing his fourth No. 1 on the prestigious all-genre Billboard Hot 100, courtesy of his genre-blending new Tate McRae collaboration, ‘What I Want’.
It becomes McRae’s first ever No. 1 on the Hot 100, and showcases once again Wallen’s ability to dominate not only the country charts, but the all-genre rankings.
The pop-infused earworm serves as one of the many stand-outs from Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m the Problem, with a whopping six tracks from the lauded project featuring in the Top 10.
In addition, Wallen breaks his own record for the most songs charting simultaneously. When he dropped his blockbuster 2023 opus, One Thing At A Time, all 36 songs surged into the Hot 100.
Now, every song on Wallen’s new project - except ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, which was released back in July 2024 - is inside the Hot 100, along with the monster hit ‘I Had Some Help’ with Post Malone. ‘I Had Some Help’ appeared on Post’s debut country record, F-1Trillion, last year.
This colossal feat consolidates the ‘Everything I Love’ singer-songwriter’s status as one of the biggest artists in today’s music landscape, and ensures the excitement remains sky-high ahead of Wallen’s one-night-only show in London tomorrow (Wednesday, May 28th).
