A little over a month after Megan Moroney released her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I Okay?, the star is already serving up another new tune.

The 'Tennessee Orange' hitmaker recently took to social media to share a brief snippet of a new recording, offering fans a taste of an unnamed song bound to be a heartbreaker.

Against a neon-tinted arrangement, the artist's gravel-laden lilt documents heartache as she sings, "Dressed to the nines, Perfect blue eyes / I looked around, not a red flag in sight / My daddy liked you, and that was a first / You promised him you'd be the guy I deserve / Ohhhh, too good to be true / Ohhhh, we were wrong about you."

As so many of her hits do, Moroney chronicles a relationship's end and the realities that come with being in and out of love. "You weren't supposed to be just like the rest," she sings, her words heavy with disappointment. "You swore up and down that you loved me to death / Now, we're in my driveway, and I'm now your ex / 'Cause I’m way too much and you need something less / Ohhhh, why does this happen every time? / What's wrong with me? Am I that bad? / You felt like you had to take my broken heart and fix it / Just to turn around, turn around and break it right back."

Few details accompanied the post save a caption, reading, "sooooo yeah the third time was in fact not the charm," likely a reference to the artist's Am I Okay? hit, 'Third Time's the Charm'.

The guitar-fueled ballad chronicles how sometimes first and second romances don't always take, but that's no reason to swear off love for good. In the song, she seems to find her forever in the third lover that comes along. However, if this new song is a continuation of 'Third Time's the Charm', maybe four is the star's lucky number.

With the post came a flood of comments, many fans speculating a deluxe or extended edition of Am I Okay? is in our future. "Blink if a deluxe version is gonna happen bc OH MY GOD IM NOT OKAY," one user wrote, with others begging her to simply drop the single.

So, is a deluxe album on its way? With this unreleased song seeming to tie into another Am I Okay? tune, an extended release wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. Should an extended version arrive, new songs could act as follow-ups to album offerings like the searing 'Indifferent' and the heartbreaking '28th of June.' Maybe she really did send that guy to the moon.

Her 2023 debut album, Lucky, received the deluxe treatment just a few months after its arrival, so the chances of an Am I Okay? Part Two seem fair. Still, nothing has been announced confirming or denying an extended project, but we, at Holler, will be providing updates as they come.
