Luke Combs might not be embarking on a full-scale tour this year, nor is there an album release date on the horizon, but that isn't stopping the North Carolina native from gracing our Instagram and TikTok feeds with some hilarious social media content.

In his latest video, the ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ hitmaker jokes that he's trying his hand at becoming a golf influencer. He quips, “Ready to be a golf content creator now”, before sharing a highlights reel of some key moments from his recent round.

Amusingly, it begins with Luke Combs mishitting an approach shot, lamenting, “God, that hurts”, before it cuts to a shot of Combs playing out of a bunker and quoting DJ Khaled, “Let's go golfing! Breaking 200 [is] the first series that we're going to do here”.

It seems Luke Combs was enjoying the sunshine in Albuquerque, New Mexico while preparing for his festival appearance later that evening, with the country titan outlining, “Should be quite the day, Boots in the Park Festival - we're headlining that”.

Then, while hitting an adventurous shot across a water hazard, Combs gushes, “Yep, like that. Clip that one”, before we see him back in a bunker, with the ‘Hurricane’ chart-topper light-heartedly sharing, “Damn, I used to not hit it far enough to get in fairway bunkers. Here we are, dude, here we are. Let's go. Let's golf. Let's go golfing”.

During a mock interview as Luke Combs rides along on his buggy, he reflects, “I don't think it was intentional, but it felt good. A lot of times it's kind of spray and pray methods that I utilise”. The clip concludes with a shot of Combs taking on a crucial putt, “We're looking at a good putt. We're looking at a birdie putt”. He ultimately holes it.

It comes after Luke Combs uploaded a video update on his touring plans and new music, with the ‘Beautiful Crazy’ trailblazer confirming he's working on his next album, as well as hinting that he'll be heading out on an expansive run of shows next year.

That is, as long as Combs doesn't decide to pack it all in for his burgeoning golf career, of course...
