We're just one week away from the 56th annual CMA Awards, and it's safe to say the anticipation for the night is heating up.
To add more fuel to the country fire, the CMA has announced a whole host of new acts that are set to perform on stage at Bridgestone Arena during the ceremony.
Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, Caylee Hammack, Cody Johnson, Elle King, Patty Loveless, Ashley McBryde, Reba McEntire, John Osborne, Katy Perry, Pillbox Patti, Cole Swindell, The Black Keys, The War and Treaty, and Thomas Rhett.
Hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, “The 56th Annual CMA Awards” will broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday Nov. 9 on ABC.
The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and three-time nominee Combs will play his latest single 'The Kind of Love We Make', while Stapleton will join Patty Loveless in what's set to be a memorable performance of 'You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive'.
They all join the list of what is an already stacked night of performances, with other guests including Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, HARDY, Marcus King, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, Jimmie Allen and Zac Brown Band.
First-time nominee Lainey Wilson tops the list of award nods with six nominations. Other top nominees include Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, and Chris Stapleton, along with songwriter and producer Shane McAnally, who have five nominations each.
To close, Alan Jackson will be awarded the 2022 CMA Lifetime Acheivement Award.
