Since the release of her fiery single, 'Buzzkill,' at the top of 2025, the eyes and ears here at Holler have been firmly fixed on country newcomer Lanie Gardner.

Peppering out a handful of equally infectious tunes and teasing plenty of others across her socials in the months since, the North Carolinian gifted fans with her Polaroids EP at the beginning of June, featuring the aforementioned standout, as well as the moody 'Concrete Cowboy' and breezy 'Little Bit of Lovin'.'

Now, just over a month later, the budding singer-songwriter has unveiled that her highly anticipated sophomore record, Faded Polaroids, is coming on September 5.

Expanding on the raw honesty of her October 2024 debut, A Songwriter’s Diary, the new collection takes the shape of a sonic scrapbook of self-discovery, family roots, romantic twists and personal healing as Gardner blends country storytelling with indie-rock grit, small-town pop and boundless emotion. Gardner partnered with formidable producers Oscar Charles, Jonathan Singleton, Chris Ganoudis and Don Miggs to bring the 18 track together.

“I created the idea of Faded Polaroids using actual polaroids. Some brand new, others nicotine-stained, withered, torn and worn from being passed down through the years,” the young starlet shares. “It felt like zooming out on my whole life and finally seeing the bigger picture.

"These snapshots—these songs—are the most beautiful parts of me. They tell the story of where I come from, who I come from, what I’ve learned and who I’m becoming." She adds, "I hope these songs encourage people to take the time to make their own version of that too. I think it’s important that we all do.”

To ring in the exciting announcement, the BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville entertainer has also released the album's lead single, 'High Divin',' which features an extremely special cameo from Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood on the drums.

Marking full-circle moment for the 25-year-old, whose breakout came from a viral cover of the band's 'Dreams'—the new song is steeped in self-reflection. Wrapped in shimmering guitars and soaring vocals, it captures the journey of self-sabotage, while also honoring the path that led her there.

“It’s one of the most important songs on the album for me,” Gardner shares. “I was going through a pretty rough patch and needed to give myself a little tough love.”

As if all of that wasn't enough, the burgeoning artist also announced that she'll be stepping into the coveted Grand Ole Opry circle for the very first time come August 6. A lifelong dream fulfilled, Gardner will be joining the long list of country icons and legends who have made that same walk across that hallowed stage over the past 100 years.
