A shimmering pantheon of country stars have aligned this week to show their support for St. Jude's This Shirt Saves Lives campaign, which aims to encourage fans to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and become a Partner in Hope.

The hospital has been at the forefront of the mission to eradicate childhood cancer for a number of years now, with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital being founded by Danny Thomas in 1962. Ever since, the survival rate has been elevated from 20% to 80%.

By donating, fans will receive the iconic This Shirt Saves Lives tee, which some of today's biggest country artists have been donning across social media to raise awareness of the campaign.

St. Jude's continues to enjoy a close relationship with the world of country music, ever since Thomas’ grandson, Jason Thomas Gordon, set up Music Gives to St. Jude Kids.

Earlier in the year, Lainey Wilson paid a visit to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, in what served as a heartwarming full-circle moment for the 2024 ACM Entertainer of the Year. When the Louisiana native was working as a Hannah Montana impersonator 16 years ago, her last ever performance in the role was at St. Jude. She recalled how one child made their way to the front of the room during ‘The Climb’, before Lainey gave her the microphone to deliver part of the song.

Endearingly, the patient - who was recovering from brain surgery at the time - then meant to say to Lainey Wilson, “Hannah Montana, you're my star”, but accidentally remarked, “I'm your star” instead. Lainey describes how, at that moment, she thought, “Yes you are, and I got to figure out how I can do this the rest of my life”.

In addition to Lainey Wilson, a range of big-name acts from country music have been sharing photos of them wearing the This Shirt Saves Lives tee, including Riley Green, Parker McCollum, Sam Hunt, Bailey Zimmerman, Tigirlily Gold, Cody Johnson, Scotty McCreery, Dylan Marlowe, Luke Bryan, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore and many more.

By donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and getting a This Shirt Saves Lives tee, fans will be helping to ensure no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel or food.
