Kenny Chesney has continued his stellar run of A-list guests as his Sphere Las Vegas residency approaches its final couple of weekends, with the ‘No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems’ legend bringing out Gracie Potter and Uncle Kracker during the latest concert.

It marks the second time Grace Potter has joined Kenny Chesney during the blockbuster series of shows, with the Vermont native a long-time collaborator of Chesney's.

The duo treated the fervent crowd to a spellbinding rendition of their hit single, ‘You and Tequila’, with their voices combining beautifully to recreate the magic of the studio version.

Elsewhere during the momentous set, Chesney - with Potter's encouragement - delivered a striking cover of Elvis’ ‘Burning Love’, which felt like an especially apt choice for the setting.

After the show, Kenny Chesney light-heartedly underlined that, when Grace Potter suggests something, he always makes a point of taking heed, “When Grace gets a notion, I usually just roll with it. She’s one of the most musical people I’ve ever met, as well as fun, so when she’s saying, ‘Lets…,’ I’m all about it. She strapped on that Flying V guitar, and when her verse came up, she just took us to church”.

Potter then joked, “Kenny has the voice to hit that Elvis thing, and it seemed so obvious to me. ‘We’re in Vegas! You rock! Let’s do this!!’ And man, with his band, what other song do you do? I knew they’d crush ‘Burning Love,’ and man, did they”.

Later in the show, Kenny Chesney was joined by his ‘When the Sun Goes Down’ collaborator and 2024 tour-mate, Uncle Kracker, for a birthday celebration honouring the latter.

They reeled off their signature beachside earworm, ‘When the Sun Goes Down’, with Kracker then staying on for a medley of fan-favourites, including ‘Drift Away’ and ‘Follow Me’.

Following this, Chesney warmly outlined, “Anytime Kracker wants to join us, he has an open invitation. Everyone in No Shoes Nation knows that. But when he’s out here with us, the joy level jumps up so much, and the soul he brings to what we do, the band and I can’t get enough. I can’t believe it took us so long to make this happen!”

The ‘I Go Back’ hitmaker went on to reflect on how he's feeling about the electrifying residency, which has proven a huge success so far, “I think everybody’s curious about what this massive show is all about. But I also think we’re having so much fun out here, who doesn’t want to be a part of it? When you have your friends calling, asking if they can come, I’ve always been the more, the better. But so far, we’ve had so many guests, so many friends and everybody’s having a blast”.

After spectacular appearances from Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney and Old Dominion, and with Chesney's next Sphere show lined up for Wednesday, June 11th, fans will be keenly looking forward to seeing if he has any more special guests up his sleeve.
