Kelsea Ballerini was given a plaque commemorating an array of career achievements ahead of her Rolling Up The Welcome Mat film screening in Nashville this week.
The special award paid tribute to the fact that the ‘half of my hometown’ hitmaker has now accumulated an impressive seven No. 1 singles, 31 RIAA certifications and over six billion streams.
The presentation took place before the Nashville screening of Kelsea's Rolling Up The Welcome Mat film on Tuesday, August 8, which was accompanied by a special Q&A session and live performance.
The moment was given an added sheen of significance by the fact it took place in Kelsea Ballerini's home-state, with the country-pop trailblazer visibly moved by the surprise gift.
During the first of her three Rolling Up The Welcome Mat film screenings in August in Los Angeles, Kelsea excitingly revealed the extended version of her EP of the same name will be released on August 11. It'll feature updated editions of ‘Blindsided’, ‘Penthouse’ and the ‘Interlude’, along with a brand new song, ‘How Do I Do This’.
Kelsea Ballerini has one more film screening left as part of her Under The Welcome Mat trio of showcases in New York on August 10. The hugely popular events have so far served as the perfect way to ensure anticipation is sky-high ahead of the release of Rolling Up The Welcome Mat (For Good) on Friday (August 11).
