Although not yet securing his spot as the Super Bowl half-time performer - despite that being a show we would love to one day see - Post Malone delivered an array of electrifying sets in New Orleans over the course of the star-studded weekend.

After bringing out Jelly Roll during his intimate Bud Light Super Bowl Kick Off Party, the ‘Guy For That’ hitmaker took the stage at the official Tailgate Party shortly before the Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over last year's champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

As Post Malone introduced his his chart-topping 2024 smash, the Morgan Wallen-assisted ‘I Had Some Help’, the New York native offered a hilarious, tongue-in-cheek dig at the Kansas City Chiefs, quipping, “I wrote this song about the Chiefs and the referees...” Fans have accused the Chiefs of receiving a slew of lenient calls from referees in recent years, but Post underlined straight after his live-wire rendition of ‘I Had Some Help’ that “my joke earlier was made in good taste”.

As he approached the conclusion of his enchanting performance, Post Malone gave fans a moving motivational speech, with the bearded crooner endearingly encouraging attendees to “keep living your dreams, and keep expressing yourself, and keep being unique, and keep doing what you love to do, and just keep kicking ass”.

Post Malone heartwarmingly assured listeners, “You know, a lot of the time, whenever you look around the world, and you see what's going on, it's so easy to get in your head and it's so easy to just think negatively all the time, and I just wanted to say, to anyone who's going through anything and everything, I just hope you know that you are loved more than you fucking know, ladies and gentlemen. I know what it's like to feel down, down, down, down, down...and I just wanted to say that each and every single one of y'all kicks so much fucking ass it's not even funny”.

The ‘Pour Me a Drink’ singer-songwriter went on, “Keep living your dreams, and keep expressing yourself, and keep being unique, and keep doing what you love to do, and just keep kicking ass. Ladies and gentlemen, just be yourself ‘cause there's no-one on this God-damn planet that's cooler than who you are, ladies and gentlemen”.

Post Malone has been open about his mental health struggles throughout his storied career, with the Double-Diamond-certified artist making a point of giving fans a few words of comfort and inspiration during his live shows. Throughout the rollout for his widely lauded debut country album, F-1Trillion, which dropped in August 2024, Post heartwarmingly outlined how he's in a much happier space.

Like his Super Bowl LIX Tailgate Party set, that project was pervaded by a sense of joy and celebration, with Post Malone clearly revelling in his country era. The global phenom begins his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell in late April.
