"I dreamed of this stagecoach! I've been dreaming of this," a clearly emotional Jelly Roll told the crowd as he did exactly what he said he would do when he promised to come back and headline Stagecoach Festival someday.
Beginning the set with 'Heart of Stone,' 'Get By' and recent viral single 'Liar,' the country superstar filled the rest of his 21-song set with a conveyor belt of crowd thrilling guest appearances with a stage set that resembled a desert gas station.
Bringing MGK out for a run through 'My Ex's Best Friend' and their recent collab 'Lonely Road,' Jelly Roll was clearly determined to make his Stagecoach headline as unforgettable for the crowd at the Mane Stage, at one point telling them this was the largest crowd he'd ever played in front of.
He performed 'Son of a Sinner' solo before bringing out Shaboozey for a suitably spiritual performance of 'Amen,' taken from Shaboozey's just released Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going: The Complete Edition.
Shaboozey hadn't even left the stage before it was time for the next guest to join as BigXthaPlug took to the stage with Jelly Roll for 'Texas' and 'The Largest.'
Jelly Roll has so many duets in his back catalogue that it was anyone's guess who he was going to bring out next. After only being here last week for her two Coachella performances, country pop crossover star Jessie Murph was back in the desert again for a blasting version of their 'Wild Ones' duet.
"I don't know what heaven feels like, but if I had to guess, I'd say it feels like Stagecoach on a Saturday night," he told the crowd.
He also took time during his set to bring attention to the fentanyl crisis and made a shout out to anyone there attending Stagecoach sober.
Jelly Roll has always made a point of using his own time in the spotlight to shine a light on other artists and he brought out Alex Warren for a cover of Warren's song 'Ordinary' before the pair performed an unreleased song, 'Oh My Brother.'
Jelly Roll kept the spotlight to himself but not for long, and after performing 'She,' in which he changed the words "she" to "he" in the second verse, and solo performances of 'I Am Not Okay' and 'Halfway To Hell,' he brought out Wiz Khalifa for a cover of his and Snoop Dogg's 'Young, Wild and Free' and 'Black and Yellow.'
Over an hour into the set, he still had some surprises for the crowd and closed with a medley of 'Sweet Home Alabama / How You Remind Me / California Love / Flowers' before bringing out Brandon Lake for 'Hard Fougt Hallelujah' and closing the set by bringing out Friday night's Stagecoach headliner, Lana Del Rey, for a powerfully emotional 'Save Me.'
