Country superstars Jelly Roll and Bailey Zimmerman and Floridian rock outfit Shinedown will headline the 2024 edition of Tailgate N' Tallboys Clinton.
The Iowan festival, which is taking place on the weekend of June 6-8, 2024, eagerly announced their headliners across social media on Wednesday, alongside the announcement that tickets at the current level pricing are now limited.
The announcement of both Jelly Roll and Bailey Zimmerman topping the bill of the event signifies both their elevations to main stage headliner status, particularly following what has been a record year for them in touring, releases and exposure.
Jelly released his first country album, Whitsitt Chapel, to roaring success in June. Zimmerman, meanwhile, released his debut album Religiously in May, with the title track reaching No.1 on country radio and capturing over 105m streams on Spotify alone.
They will be joined on the Sunday by heavy rock act Shinedown, who found popularity in the early 2000s with their album, Sound of Madness. Brent Smith, frontman of the band, recently brought Oliver Anthony up on stage at Blue Ridge Rock festival to sing Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Simple Man' alongside members of Shinedown and fellow hard rock act Papa Roach.
Zimmerman has become a seasoned veteran of the Tailgate N' Tallboys festival circuit, with appearances at both their Auburn and Rockingham events this year.
The Clinton edition of the festival, meanwhile, is heading into it's second year, following a hugely successful first event back in June. Jake Owen, Tim McGraw and Chase Rice all played this year's festival, as did Jelly Roll, who immediately returns to headline this year.
