As the nation prepares to crown its 2023 winner of American Idol, the list of performers due to take the stage during the hotly anticipated grand finale has been confirmed.

One of country's newest converts, Jelly Roll, will perform during the event, with the country-rock up-and-comer currently gearing up to release his brand new album, Whitsitt Chapel, on June 2.

Jelly Roll recently impressed the 2023 ACM Awards crowd with a momentous performance of his latest single, ‘Save Me’, featuring a captivating guest appearance from Jelly Roll's label-mate, Lainey Wilson.

With Bell Bottom Country chart-topper Lainey Wilson also revealed to be performing during the American Idol finale on May 21, the two BBR Music Group signees are widely expected to deliver another show-stopping rendition of ‘Save Me’.

As well as Jelly Roll and Lainey, the American Idol Season 21 finale will feature sets from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Pitbull, TLC, James Blunt, Ellie Goulding, Lauren Daigle, Jazmine Sullivan and more.

In addition, as is tradition, all members of the superstar judging panel will be performing, with fans eager to see Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie taking the stage on Sunday evening.

One of country's most respected figures, Keith Urban, will be joining up with the three final contestants to help mentor them ahead of the weekend's high-stakes occasion. After guiding the 2023 season's hopefuls through the week, the Australian singer-songwriter will then take the stage during the finale for a special performance.

The finalists battling it out for the coveted record deal will be country-leaning crooner, Colin Stough, along with vocal powerhouse, Megan Danielle and the soulful, evocative Iam Tongi.

The final of American Idol Season 21 will air on 8pm ET/5pm PT on Sunday, May 21.
