The 2025 Long Road Festival line-up just got even more stacked, with folk hitmaker James Bay added to the stellar roster of performers set to descend on Stanford Hall this August.
The ‘Hold Back The River’ chart-topper will grace the main-stage on Sunday, August 24th, with attendees no doubt looking forward to hearing Bay reel off a plethora of uplifting anthems.
The Brit Award and Ivor Novello winner has established himself as a mainstay in the folk space, with James Bay amassing a slew of iconic hits, including the rousing ‘Hold Back the River’ and ‘Let It Go’, which appeared on his lauded debut album, Chaos and Calm.
The UK singer-songwriter dropped his much-loved fourth record, Changes All The Time, last year, featuring a star-studded collaboration with two fellow folk titans, The Lumineers and Noah Kahan, ‘Up All Night’. Excitingly, James Bay has another blockbuster duet up his sleeve, with his highly anticipated duet with Sheryl Crow, ‘You & Me Time’, arriving on Wednesday, April 18th. It's safe to say we can't wait to hear both ‘Up All Night’ and ‘You & Me Time’ at The Long Road Festival in August.
Also introduced into The Long Road Festival 2025 line-up is country prodigy, Mackenzie Carpenter, who will serenade the Leicestershire crowd with an array of stand-outs from her acclaimed debut album, Hey Country Queen, which she released last month.
In addition, 2025 Long Road Festival ticket-holders will get to witness spellbinding sets from Bobbie, Bonnie Dobson & the Hanging Stars, Chris Linton, Crowe Boys, Danny & The Champions of the World, Darren Kiely, David Unlayao, Denitia, Evan Bartels, First Time Flyers, Gill Landry, Greazy Alice, Jade Turner, Kellie Loder, Nolan Taylor, Robbie Cavanagh, The Rockingbirds and The White Buffalo.
They join the already announced Midland, Drake Milligan, Seasick Steve, Fantastic Negrito, Alana Springsteen, Larry Fleet, Charles Wesley Godwin, Elles Bailey, Ashley Monroe, Fancy Hagood, Janet Devlin and Chuck Ragan on the impressive 2025 bill.
Speaking ahead of today's unveiling, The Long Road Festival's Creative Director and Holler's Head of Music, Baylen Leonard, expressed his admiration for James Bay's talents, “At The Long Road, we’re all about celebrating the best in country, roots, Americana, and always looking to broaden our lineup with something for every music lover. James Bay is one of the finest singer-songwriters out there and is the perfect complement to what we do. Can't wait for the Sunday sing-along!”
Tickets to The Long Road Festival 2025 are on-sale now, with the hugely popular country, Americana and roots extravaganza returning to Leicestershire's Stanford Hall across August 22nd to 24th for what promises to be its biggest year yet.
For the first time, the Rhinestone main-stage will open on the Friday, with Drake Milligan kicking off the three-day party with a live-wire set, before Midland and James Bay take over the coveted headlining honours for Saturday and Sunday respectively.
