“It is a Whole Other World”: Kenny Chesney Teases What Fans Can Expect From His Blockbuster Sphere Las Vegas Shows

On the eve of his blockbuster 2025 Las Vegas Sphere residency, Kenny Chesney has offered fans a taste of what they can look forward to from the groundbreaking shows.

The 15-date residency, which will make Chesney the first ever country artist to headline the immersive venue, kicks off at long last tomorrow night (Thursday, May 22nd).

In a new statement, the ‘Just To Say We Did’ hitmaker has excitedly reflected on how the week's rehearsals have been going, “I’ve never seen anything like it. Until we loaded in, I couldn’t fully see it. Now I can’t wait to share this with No Shoes Nation”.

Kenny Chesney stresses how innovative this technology is, “You can’t truly imagine it. When people say you have to experience it to really understand, they aren’t kidding. Even with all the simulators, the special editing facilities, the way we have approached rehearsals, it wasn’t until we got inside Sphere that me, the band, the crew and all our road family truly got it. It is a whole other world - and I can’t wait for the people who’ve loved this music so intensely to experience this”.

The Knoxville native and his team have spent the past few month reshooting their footage from past tours with special cameras designed specifically for the Sphere stage.

Kenny Chesney gushes, “Experience, because it’s so much more than just seeing a concert...Keeping the focus on these songs. It made us really creative. Some of what we shot, the way the sound is being sculpted, we’re taking these songs deeper into what they can be – and when we got onstage to start rehearsing, everybody was blown away by how much more every single song seemed to mean”.

He goes on by highlighting that, true to the lyrics of his new collaboration with Megan Moroney, this is a moment where you really have to be there, “You really do have to experience it to feel how deep this goes. We can’t wait to get everybody into the room to feel that energy. We are always coming to rock No Shoes Nation, and they rock us right back. Something tells me this is going to be even more intense”.

In addition to a sprawling setlist and an energising opening DJ set from Brandi Cyrus, attendees can enjoy a fan-oriented museum experience at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, titled Guitars, Tiki Bars and A Whole Lotta Love, which includes brand new merch.
