“I’m Glad No Shoes Nation is as Excited as We Are”: Kenny Chesney Adds Three More Shows to Sphere Residency

After his 2025 Live at Sphere Las Vegas residency was met with immense demand during the pre-sale, Kenny Chesney has added three more dates on June 18th, 20th and 21st.

It takes the tally to a blockbuster 15 shows, with the hype surrounding the Sphere residency unsurprisingly through the roof, given Kenny Chesney is set to become the first country artist in history to headline the innovative, immersive Vegas venue.

Endearingly, the ‘No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems’ hitmaker has expressed his excitement at seeing fans react so positively to his plan for 2025, which marks a departure from his usual sprawling summer tours across outdoor venues, “I know the rush we feel onstage in those football stadiums – with very little production, just this amazing band, the songs and truly, the people who come to see us. To put all of that in a building capable of what Sphere delivers? Wraparound sound, a roof, the fact it’s only 17,600 people. There was no way we weren’t going to do it”.

The Sphere's technology is so advanced that Chesney and his team are having to re-film their JumboTron visuals for their forthcoming Las Vegas, Nevada shows, with the pioneering venue requiring footage recorded on a Big Sky camera that needs 12 people to operate it. The Sphere boasts an enveloping 160,000 square foot screen, 167,000 distinct speakers that combine to produce sound that can be dialled in to each seat and an LED screen with a whopping 171,000 pixels.

The multiple Entertainer of the Year victor explains, “We have been shooting all new footage, learning new technology, thinking about the songs in a whole new way. I’m glad No Shoes Nation is as excited as we are. And because this is such a beyond the imagination experience, we’re all going there together for the very first time”.

It's shaping up to be a truly game-changing moment for both the genre and the Sphere, with Kenny Chesney's eagerly anticipated residency set to pave the way for the trailblazing venue to position itself at the forefront of the explosive country concert scene.

Fans can sign up for pre-sale access to Kenny Chesney's newly added trio of shows now, with the pre-sale for these extra dates opening on Friday, January 24 at 10 AM PT.

The pre-sale start times are being staggered depending on which show has been requested, with pre-sale for shows between May 22nd and 31st opening at 10am PT, shows between June 6th and 14th opening at 12pm PT and shows between June 18th and 21st (the new additions) opening at 2pm PT. General ticket on-sale for Kenny Chesney Live at Sphere Las Vegas begins on January 31st at 10am PT.
