“Hopefully We Can Get It Out Soon”: Bailey Zimmerman Discusses His Viral New Song with BigXthaPlug, ‘All The Way’

Bailey Zimmerman has joined popular country content creator Eddie Marange to share the story of how his viral unreleased BigXthaPlug collaboration, ‘All The Way’, came about.

The Illinois crooner has voiced his excitement ahead of the track dropping, with Bailey Zimmerman hinting that BigXthaPlug's team are currently working out the release schedule.

BigXthaPlug shared the stormy, introspective offering back in mid-February, with ‘All The Way‘ expected to feature on the rapper's long-teased country EP, with BigX recruiting an A-list cast that includes Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and more.

Speaking to Eddie Marange, Bailey Zimmerman has endearingly recalled how he manifested working with BigXthaPlug, “Random, super random. I was up in my studio one night, and I had heard that BigX was doing a country project, and I said, ‘Man, dude, how cool would it be to do a song with BigX? I would love to do that one day’”.

The ‘Religiously’ singer-songwriter went on, “That day was super soon, and he sent me the song. I cut it, and we were just gonna wait, and then...They loved it. He was like, ‘Dude, I love this song’, and then he just randomly posted it...Nobody knew he was gonna post it...Now, we're here. So we're trying to figure it out, dude”.

When Marange stressed how this was a collaboration we never knew we needed, Zimmerman echoed his sentiments, “I was the same way. When I first got it, I was like, ‘Dude, I wonder if I'm gonna sound good’, and then when I cut it, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, dude, this thing is so fire’. So yeah, hopefully we can get it out soon, bro”.

Although there's no official release date yet, BigXthaPlug shared the ‘All The Way’ artwork and pre-save link last week, which hopefully indicates the infectious track is en route.

Given how prominent ‘All The Way’ has become across social media, with fans desperately calling for the full version to be released, we suspect it won't be too much longer before this star-studded country-trap anthem is made available to stream.

One of the reasons why the heartbroken ‘All The Way’ has struck a chord with listeners is due to how seamlessly Bailey Zimmerman and BigXthaPlug's respective styles combine.

Zimmerman underlines, “It's like my sound and his sound really blended together super well, and I think I'm just excited to see how people react to it and if they love it or not”.

Arguably, it's already evident what fans think of ‘All The Way’, given how overwhelmingly positive the online reaction to BigXthaPlug's snippet has been so far. On TikTok alone, Bailey Zimmerman's clip has been used as the audio for over 13,000 videos.

We're keeping our fingers crossed there's an official release date fast approaching on the horizon, with ‘All The Way’ hopefully paving the way for BigXthaPlug's country EP. Alongside Zimmerman, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, the project is rumoured to include contributions from Jelly Roll, ERNEST and Shaboozey.
