Holler's 2023 Songwriter Competition has officially opened its virtual doors for submissions, with artists and songwriters from all genres encouraged to send their original songs for consideration.

The winner of Holler's new competition, which will close for entries on Thursday, August 10 at midnight CT (8am BST), will receive a brand new Taylor 214ce six-string guitar.

In addition, the victor will be showcased to Holler's wonderful readers with a New Artist of the Week Feature article, along with coverage across Holler's social media channels.

The new competition serves as the perfect medium through which Holler can continue its promotion of exciting new talent and up-and-coming songwriters, with the platform continuing to consolidate its tastemaker status throughout the country music space and beyond.

As well as the allure of gaining a glossy new Taylor guitar, the chance to secure their status as Holler's New Artist of the Week will provide the winner with the opportunity to reach a plethora of new listeners.

They'll be joining the stars of tomorrow that have been featured in Holler's popular New Artist of the Week series, such as Charles Wesley Godwin, Lauren Watkins, Corey Kent, Conner Smith, Jake Worthington, Stephen Wilson Jr., Carter Faith and more.

In order to enter, candidates must submit an acoustic performance of an original song in a downloadable format, and the video must not have been previously published on YouTube.
