Gregory Alan Isakov will be hitting the road next spring, but he won't be taking stages alone.
The longtime folk torchbearer and his band are embarking on a special run of symphony shows, performing with full orchestras at each tour stop during the month of March.
"thrilled to share we’re hitting the road this spring for our Symphony Tour," Isakov shared of the upcoming performances, explaining "we’ll be collaborating with some outstanding orchestras, including the LA Phil, Chicago Philharmonic, and Atlanta Pops Orchestra, among others."
He added, "we’re incredibly fortunate to have renowned conductor Christopher Dragon at the helm for most of these shows, and the talented Morihiko Nakahara leading performances in Charleston and Tysons."
Kicking off in Nashville on March 11, the 10-stop trek will take the artist through cities like Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles and beyond, where he will play his hits alongside some of the nation's most accomplished symphony orchestras.
Tickets for the special symphony showcases will go on sale this Friday (Dec. 60 at 10 a.m. local time.
