The King of Country Music, George Strait, has surprised his legion of fans as he's extended his run of stadium shows into 2024.
Following a string of seven stops at stadiums across the US in 2023 – including two nights at Nashville's Nissan Stadium – Strait will be ticking off a few more of the most prestigious venues in the country come May.
Alongside his trusty supporters – award-winning artists Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town – Strait will play shows in Indianapolis, IN; Jacksonville, FL; Ames, IA; Charlotte, NC; East Rutherford, NJ; Salt Lake City, UT; Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL through July 20.
In addition to these eight newly-announced summer performances, the King will also supersize his longstanding "Strait to Vegas" show with a lone December date on December 7. Taking over Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, the one-off show will mark the 37th installment of the engagement.
“I’ve always said we have the best fans in the world, and to see so many of them show up for these shows just makes us want to keep bringing them more,” Strait notes. “I’ve also missed performing in Las Vegas during NFR, so I’m happy to see that show come together in 2024. See you soon!”
Tickets to most shows go on sale September 22 at 10am local time, with tickets to the Jacksonville show on sale Oct. 20 at 10am local time.
