Garth Brooks has been unveiled as the first BST Hyde Park 2026 headliner, with the country megastar set to take the stage at the much-loved London festival on June 27th.
It marks the ‘Friends in Low Places’ hitmaker's first performance in the UK in almost 30 years. Brooks delivered a string of blockbuster shows at Dublin's Croke Park in 2022, but has not travelled to the UK since his 1998 show in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Speaking ahead of the momentous unveiling, Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, gushed, “Announcing Garth Brooks as our first BST Hyde Park headliner for 2026 is a landmark moment. He joins the line of legendary artists who have defined BST over the years. A true global icon, Garth’s songs have connected with audiences everywhere, and his influence has paved the way for many of the country stars we celebrate today. His first UK performance in nearly three decades promises to be an unforgettable occasion at Hyde Park”.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Garth Brooks concluding his sprawling, 72-show Las Vegas residency, with fans hoping for a full set of 2026 World Tour dates.
Brooks remains one of the biggest names in country music history, with the Oklahoma native famously selling out New York's Central Park, with around a million fans attending. His return to the UK has been a long time coming, with BST Hyde Park serving as the perfect setting, given the calibre of artists the summer concert series has hosted over the years, including Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Bruce Springsteen, Sabrina Carpenter, The Rolling Stones, Adele and more.
General on-sale to Garth Brooks’ BST Hyde Park show opens on Thursday, September 18th at 10am BST. The AMEX presale begins on Friday, September 12th at 10am BST, and the artist fanclub presale starts on Tuesday, September 16th at 10am BST.
