Flatland Cavalry have announced they'll be releasing their major label debut, Wandering Star, on October 27 2023, with a brand new single from the project, the Kaitlin Butts-assisted ‘Mornings With You’, being made available immediately.
Wandering Star, which will be released via Interscope, will also feature the previously released songs, ‘The Last American Summer’ and ‘Oughta See You (The Way I Do)’.
In addition, the hotly anticipated record will include a plethora of unreleased tracks, such as ‘The Provider’, ‘The Best Days’, ‘New American Dream’ and ‘A Thousand Miles An Hour’.
Despite this being their first album on a major label, Flatland Cavalry have already amassed a fiercely loyal fanbase through their celebrated trio of independent studio albums, Welcome to Countryland, Homeland Insecurity and Humble Folks.
The new single, ‘Mornings With You’, is a heartwarming ode to the fulfillment found in waking up next to your love, with Katilin Butts’ distinctive vocals combining seamlessly with Cleto Cordero’s.
Following this tantalising appetiser of what's to come on Wandering Star, listeners are already clamouring for the six-piece to share another single or two before the full project's release.
